Speaking about the expansion plan, Himanshu says “Our primary objective is to have at least a thousand merchants across services spanning the geography of Mumbai and its outskirts, before opening out the app to customers. We are unable to keep pace with the demand we are receiving from merchants to register themselves, and an expanding team of feet-on-street is getting these vendors onboarded swiftly, ensuring that the registration protocol is adhered to strictly, since we want only verified, reliable vendors to service our customers.”
Merchant registrations are currently welcome on Clappily, if you provide any party services including but not limited to the following:
Venue manager, Emcee, Decorator, Makeup Artist, Caterer, Music Band, Orchestra, Anchor, Balloonist, Tattoo Artist, Florist, Entertainer, Baker, Cab/Bus Service, Utensil Rental, Disposable Plate Seller, Mehendi Artist, Rental Furniture, Lights, Sound, DJ, Photographer, and other essential party services.
When a customer books a service, the merchant is notified of the same and they can take the discussion and deal ahead directly. While majority of the revenue will remain with the merchant, the app will charge a nominal fee for bringing them business through the technological platform.
