Perfecting Your Cleavage: Get The Perfect Look With Breast Implants

Breast enhancement or augmentation is a surgical procedure that involves inserting breast implants into your chest to improve the breast shape, size or symmetry. Though “bigger is better” was the norm in the past, recent studies show that a growing number of people now prefer smaller breast sizes. Patients are shying away from the usual size E cup and opting for a more natural D or C cup. Women are now opting for a more naturally toned and athletic look instead of the ‘bombshell’ appearance.
Aside from changing the size and shape of the breasts, implants can also be used to make breasts more symmetrical or to restore breast volume after pregnancy. The breasts usually experience ptosis (slight sagging) after women give birth or breast feed.
The stigma about plastic surgery is long gone and while celebrities are still seen as the primary trend-setter when it comes to surgical enhancements, everybody can now experience plastic surgery to perfect their cleavage and overall appearance. For best results, be sure to approach a licensed and qualified surgeon to perform these procedures. Choosing to go under the ...
... knife overseas is far riskier than having the procedure done in the UK. Approaching a renowned local plastic surgeon may cost a bit more but it well worth the extra expense.
The breast augmentation procedure usually takes one hour and is done under general anaesthetic. It could be performed as a day case, but patients typically have to be admitted in the hospital overnight. The areas for possible incision are either under the folds of the breasts, around the nipple or areola, or near the armpit. Swelling and bruising after surgery is completely normal and nothing to panic about. There would be post-operative discomfort for around three days to one week.
To heal faster, you must follow certain post-op instructions such as wearing a supportive bra all day and night for three full months following the operation. The wounds will be covered in tape after the procedure and these should be kept intact for three weeks. Strenuous exercise should be completely avoided, along with heavy lifting, for at least six weeks. Follow up appointments should also be made a week, two weeks, and 3 months after the procedure to assess progress and address any complications.
