Finians Rainbow is a musical score that is a combination of satire, romance, and imagination. The story is fanciful and revolves round an Irish dreamer and his daughter Sharon. The play is set in Missitucky, a mythical state in the Deep South. The Irish man emigrates with his daughter from Ireland to this southern state to bury a stolen golden pot with the false hope that the treasure will grow with time.
