India ranks on top in the list of growing media markets in the world. It is not only newspapers as other media forms like radio, television channels and internet are also growing at a fast pace .The first ever attempt to start a newspaper was made in the year 1776 in Calcutta. However, Evidence supports that the use of the concept of mass duplication in India dates way back to the Indus Valley Civilization era. Over the period of time, journalism in India started moulding into the high-powered career stream it has become today.
