Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis approved allotment of land for setting up a food park at MIHAN in Nagpur.The decision was taken at the 58th meeting of the Board of Directors of MAharashtra Airport Development

The increase in the RR rate (Ready Reckoner)rates coming into effect from April 1 is'moderate'and in the range of Zero to four percent in Nagpur City as well as entire Nagpur Devision.According to Sources the moderate rise is the result of Kind of Stagnation and Stability' in the property prices. For the second year in the row,revised rates of RR will come into the effect from April 1 .
Previously, Revision used to come into the effect from Jan 1every year. Since the Bharatiya Jananta Party -led government took over in state, it has changed the date from jan 1 to april 1.
The new rates for the year 2017-2018,coming into effect from April 1 ,effect that the areas on the periphery of Nagpur city are attracting better attention better attention of buyers due to sheer affordability is keeping most of the investors away from these areas despite rise in economic activity, commercial space. The peripheral or ribbon development areas like bhamti,jaitala ,those along outer Ring Road, Amravati Road,Chhinwara Road,Umred Road etc are coming up very fast
as destination for investment in Real Estate.Whereas, the core Areas of the city like sitabuldi, Dharampeth,Ramdaspeth,Panchsheel Sqaure,Variety Square.West High Court Etc. have become costlier with the even the moderate Rise in the RR rate.According the OfficialSources,the overall average rise in RR rates in Nagpur City is in the range of one to two per cent. the Hike in RR rates in Nagpur City is in the range of one or two percent. The hike in the agricultural land also in the range ofupto two percent .
In the sitabuldi area, RR rates will be stable and those for bulit -up residential and commercial properties will increase. Normally, the RR rates for built up properties in sitabuldi are 1.5 to 2 times that for land. In, Dharampeth also , RR rates will be stable.in Mouzaaaaaaa gadga, there is one per cent increase in the RR rates for land,but built-up property rates are steady.in Civil lines and shivaji nagar areas also situation is the same as that in Gadga. IN Jaitala and Bhamti,however there is two per cent increase in RR rates forbuilt -up property and 1.25 per cent in that for land.
In somalwada,Ramdaspeth, Nandanvan areas,Land prices are stabel and there is marginal increase in RR rates for built properties.
According to one official,the highest RR rate of Rs. 1,03,300 per sq mtr is reitered ina part of sitabuldi,but he refused to revealthe name of the area.And , the lowest rate of rs17,000 sqmtr is registered in the areas on the outskirts of Nagpur City.'Flats are attracting ore attention of the buyers and the land market is seeing lesser transaction.The highest average increase in RR rates is in chandrapur and Gondia cities, and the lowest average increase is in gadchiroli City.
