Office Conference Room Equipment - Checklist

Here is a checklist of must have conference room equipment for offices or small business.

1. Projector: Projectors are the most needed equipment in conference rooms. They are needed to project all your presentations, slides and graphics on to a projection screen so everybody can see them. Select from overhead, stationary or portable projector.

2. Projector Screens: As stated above, projection screens are needed so that everybody can see presentations, slides and graphics. Select from manual or electronic projector. Also keep in mind size of the room to know which screen size you'll need.

3. Lighting: Proper lighting is must for a conference room. It will be hard to concentrate or take notes if the room is not properly lighted. Imagine what it would look like if the presenter is in a dark lit corner of the room.

4. LCD/Plasma Display: Make your conference room hi-tech by installing a LCD/plasma screen. Connect desktop with this screen and everybody in the room will be able to see what is on your screen. Again, consider size of the room.

... System: A phone system with facilities for teleconferencing, speaker phone, phone directory, Voice Mail, Intercom is ideal for a conference room.

6. Webcam: Webcam is needed if you will be a part of video conferencing.

7. Computer System: A complete computer system with desktop, keyboard and mouse are needed to make your LCD/plasma display act as a computer screen.

8. Microphone and Headsets: Microphone is needed if you will be hosting webinars. There is nothing worst than hosting webinars where people actually cannot hear you good. Same goes for headsets. You need to hear people comments or questions clearly.

9. Cables: To connect all of the equipment, you'll need different cables like VGA and HDMI.

10. Internet Connection: I shouldn't have to explain why internet connection is needed for a conference room. Internet is the life-line of any business.
