Offline Storage Table (OST) file allows Outlook users to work offline i.e. in non-Exchange environment which is wonderful for those, who are willing to utilize time while they are offline. With OST file, you can create, edit or delete emails, contacts, notes, journals, and appointments etc. when not in influence of Exchange Server.
