‘Jewelry' is a word that symbolizes love in every generation. Such a word has its own history. Basically it has been derived from the Latin word ‘jocale', but got converted to ‘jouel' under the influence of French. French's description for the word was for something that was made of precious stones that were worn by anybody.

Egypt with its rich cultural and historical background was among the earliest of civilization that had a great importance of jewelry in their society. Bangles were among their one of much sorted after jewelry in their society. Jewelry had a lot of importance in all the ancient civilizations. This can be traced from the fact that in all the ruins of Egyptian monuments large amount of jewelry was dug out. Jewelry was like a badge of power of a person. Whoever holds higher position in the society was buried with more jewelry in his/her tomb. There was other practical usage of bangles in the then era like as in the case of Grecian soldiers who wore defensive bands made up with leather, gold and silver.

But now there are many varieties and classifications of jewelry ranging from lightweight to heavy ones made up with metals and alloys. This has lead to a wide range from which people now gets to choose their specific style. Also a jewelry designer gets much freedom to experiment with different kind of metals ultimately making us the gainer.

Pharaohs of Egypt were the first to wear bracelets which were believed by them to bring luck to them. From there only the name came of ‘lucky charm'.
The bracelets were very close to the heart of Pharaohs of Egypt. Bracelets have been made by many things comprising of leather, iron, copper, beads, bone and teeth as well as precious metals and gemstone. Bracelets were known as ‘Bracels,' from the Latin Brachium, meaning, ‘arm.' When women caught on that these Bracels would look great on them, they started wearing smaller versions, called little ‘Bracels' or ‘Bracel-ets.'

Bracelet has kept its charm alive in all the ups and down of time. Throughout the time wheel is stood like a solid rock, without loosing its position any moment. It has just gained popularity over the time. Bracelets lucky image truly turned out to be luck for itself in the long run.
