... At the time of need, or ahead of time through pre-planning, please procure us to transport your loved one directly to the crematory from the place of death. Generally, this service is included in the price, but please be advised that there may be an additional fee to compensate a second person for assisting in removing and transporting the deceased if he or she dies at home.With our direct or immediate cremation package, there is no funeral service or memorial ceremony attached. Embalming the body is not required for a direct cremation, and is not performed. The package price includes a free basic cremation container. With all of our cremation services we provide you with your choice of a Vernon solid pine urn or with a durable polymer urn that can be adorned with 4 photographs that capture the essence of the deceased. Either choice of urn may be further embellished by adding an engraved nameplate and/or military insignia for a modest extra charge.

Many choose to have traditional funeral services precede a cremation. A wake may be held with an open or closed casket during which mourners may gather to visit with the body, offer their condolences, begin to heal and support one another during their time of grief. We can arrange to have a clergy member speak at the funeral service. We provide floral services for you if you want us to do so. We can also schedule musical accompaniment for the service. We have a selection of cremation caskets and rental caskets for you to choose from that reflect your preference of color, material, price and design.

Memorial ceremonies allow you to choose the time and place of the tribute to your loved one. You may hold the memorial gathering at a religious place of worship, our serene funeral home, the crematory chapel, a beautiful park, your home or any other setting. You may consider including the urn in the memorial service so that your loved one will have an even stronger presence there. You may also display a recent photograph of him or her, flowers, some of the deceased’s favorite objects and a reflection book for guests to write down cherished memories of the departed.
