Today the stock market is completely different than it was five years ago or even six months ago. The stock market will continue to change and volatility will continue to cause investors headaches. As far as whether or not you should invest in a long short mutual fund that will depend on many factors including the amount of money you want to invest, your knowledge of managing your own funds and knowing when to switch from long to short options, as well as other considerations. Overall, for anyone interested in the stock market and a return on their investment the long short mutual fund is a rising star.
