Heat Exchanger Manufacturer in Delhi is providing the super quality of products. But before purchasing it and investing the money, it is beneficial to understand exactly how it works and which one variety meets your need.

What is heat exchanger?

Heat exchangers can be simply referred to as a device designed to efficiently transfer or exchange the heat from one medium to another, generally from one fluid to another. The heat is transferred by conduction via exchanger materials that keep the mediums used separate from each other.

Working of heat exchanger

The functionality of a device capable of transferring the heat varies depending on its types and brand. For example- DynaTech heat exchangers make oil cooler using water as contact agent. Oil is passed into the shell just about dense copper tubes comprising of baffles that makes this fluid to pass in flowing way. Heat is transferred by the oil to water which is flowing via copper tubes having many paths. The contact time of oil with the water is increased for the complete and efficient transfer of the heat. Like this, all other types provided by ...

Types of heat exchanger available

Shell and tube

It consists of multiple tubes through which a liquid or fluid flows. These tubes are divided into two sets, first one containing liquid to be heated or cooled and other one having liquid used for triggering the heat exchange. These run in a shell that either removes heat from the first set by absorbing and transmitting the heat away or warms the tubes transmitting own heat to the liquid inside.

Air cooled

These kinds of heat exchangers are mainly used in vehicles and various types of mobile applications having no permanent cool water source. Cooling air is offered either by a fan or air flow happens by the vehicle movement.

Plate type

This exchanger works very similarly as of a shell and tube heat exchanger but instead of tubes it uses a series of stacked plates joined together with little amount of space in between, usually maintained by small rubber gasket. It is made up of compact stainless steel making it best choice to be used with refrigerants or in food processing. These are more practical than Shell and Tube ones in areas restricted to space.

Regenerative

In this kind of heat exchanger, the same liquid is passed around both sides; either it is a plate heat exchanger or shell and tube exchanger. A great amount of energy is saved in this heat exchanger as the procedure is repeated, with around whole heat being transferred from exiting fluid to inward fluid. Little bit additional energy is used to lower and increase the fluid temperature.

Adiabatic wheel

It uses an intermediate fluid to store heat. It is then transferred to opposite side of exchanger unit. Adiabatic wheel heat exchanger uses separate material that can either be solid or liquid to store the held heat which moves to another side to be released.

Other than heating applications, heat exchanger is also used in cooling applications. Most common applications of these exchangers include air conditioning, refineries, refrigeration, natural gas processing, petrochemical plants, and home heating.
