Laptop has become one of our companion in our life. The portability of the device and long battery backup has made it a complete gadget that can give you a comprehensive computing experience. Though some still believes that desktop is more suitable for bulk work, it is always better than a tab. However, there are things we keep doing that decreases the lifespan of this costly gadget. Here are a few of those.

Back Screen

While everyone wants to decorate their laptop and give a new trendy look using attractive back screens computer repair services Totton suggests not to use those. Why? These are mostly made up of vinyl and are bad temperature conductors. Though laptop screens don't generate huge temperature, it can block the heat which ultimately becomes huge cumulatively. It can damage the sensitive parts of the screen and soon you'll have to visit service centers.

Battery

The major reason that makes laptop so useful is the mobile like battery backup. If you have a power outlet ...
... nearby, use it through AC current; else you always have the battery. While people think that using the laptop on direct power even after getting the battery fully charged damages the battery, the fact is laptops has option to protect the battery from getting overcharged. Actually, that is a myth. Instead one should make sure that whenever they plug the laptop to an outlet, they don't detach it until the battery is full. In lithium ion batteries if you half-charge it regularly the cells would get blocked and you won't ever get the backup of the last cells.

Game

Modern laptops come with excellent configuration and playing HD games become too much enjoyable. But, one must know that these games consumes too much processor and thus it gives constant load on the battery. So, if you are addicted to those HD games, the depreciation of your laptop would be accelerated. If you still continue, I would suggest you to start saving to buy new laptop soon. Or just uninstall the games from your laptop. If you can't stop yourself from playing these, install them on your desktop.
