Burn The Floor is the artistic vision of Jason Gilkison who directs and choreographs the performances of dancers from Australia, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, The Philippines Russia, Sweden, the United States, and other countries. The cast also includes Australian Ballroom and World Latin American champions. Gilkison himself was once a World Champion Latin and Ballroom dancer.

Burn The Floor opened at Longacre Theatre on Aug 2, 2009 and was slated to run for 12 weeks. However, this dance extravaganza has extended its run up to Jan 3, 2010.
