Religions are living wonders and they play wonderful roles in our lives. They offer us a sense of fellowship, unity, faith, love and community. A religion is a special way of sharing yourself with others. Through a religion, we may share our connectedness to each other and to our Lord, the Creator of this universe. The life of a religion is renewed and fulfilled by its believers who follow the teachings of a particular religion and practice their faith. Different people follow different spiritual paths and we should accept the fact that religious paths chosen by different people remain their own decision and they have every right to follow a particular path which they think is right for them. We should take different religions as the different branches of a same tree and that tree has common roots of love, faith, belief and unity.

A religion is a belief in something beyond the physical world and it usually involves worshipping a powerful, unseen entity, which is thought to have created this wonderful universe and now oversees it. Many of the religions say that this unseen power had sent messengers in different times who guided people to follow the true path.

Many religions are blessed with gifts of the Holy Books and they teach us how to spend our lives in a way that our Creator demands us to be. For some people, a religion is more than just a belief in a God and they take a religion as a way of life and a tradition. They believe that a religion is a method which is used to find a peaceful life in such a chaotic world. A religion offers a community of believers who think alike. You are surrounded by people with the same religious heritage as you have. It is comforting to be with people who think as you do and is really great to talk to like-minded people and worship with them.

Most of the religions spread the message of love, sympathy and compassion. All forms of religions send out rules for behavior, moral education and spiritual well being. A religion is very helpful to guide the people to do the right things and leave the wrong choices. As most of the people are not sure about what not to do or what to do, a religion is always there to help you out. A few religions have lots of rules and regulations for behavior and these rules are perfect for those individuals who need to learn about moral values and internal satisfaction. Followers of a particular religion believe that their religion is the only path to God. Most religions teach and preach to find the true love such as the love of humanity, love of environment and love of life.

Today, people belonging to a particular religion think that people practicing other religions are on the wrong paths and those can only end up in hell. It is very important that we give the respect and importance to the followers of the other religions. It is not only important for maintaining a healthier society but also provides religious freedom to the followers of a particular religion. We need to create awareness about different religions and their beliefs through modern modes of communications especially internet. Through religion forums and religion chats, it is possible that we make people realize that they should see different religions as different branches of the same tree and that tree is belief in one super power, The GOD. Creating awareness about different religions through religious forums would help people to understand beliefs of people belonging to other religions and as a result, they will learn to tolerate and respect each other.
