Camp Lindenmere is a fully accredited ACA (American Camping Association) camp, located high in the Pocono Mountains, a short distance from Stroudsburg, PA.

New country-style cabins all have electricity and indoor bathroom facilities. There are 8 – 12 campers in each bunk supervised by 2-3 counselors. Located on a campus of nearly 175 acres, our facilities include: a new alpine-styled dining room, a multi-purpose indoor gymnasium and theatre, two baseball/ softball fields, five tennis courts, two soccer fields, three basketball courts (lighted), two beach volleyball courts, an extensive fine arts building, computer lab, multi-stationed ropes/climbing wall course, horseback riding arena, lake, heated pool with dual water slides, hockey arena, circus and gymnastics pavilion, flying trapeze, skateboard park, and a Teepee village for overnight camp-outs.

Leadership Training
For Campers Going Into 11th & 12th Grade
Camp Lindenmere’s Leadership Training Program is carefully designed to teach participants both life and camp-related skills. The LT’s will participate in all of the traditional Lindenmere ...
... camp activities, and will often experience many of these activities in a leadership role.

The program is fun, dynamic and creative while offering the LT’s more freedom and responsibility than other campers. The LT’s have the opportunity to participate in regular camp activities as well as experiential learning activities designed to teach life skills.

Campers that complete the two-year LT Program are eligible to become counselors a year early!
As the oldest campers, the LT’s are considered the foundation of the Lindenmere experience. Each participant is considered a valuable part of our community and is eligible to become our future staff and leaders.

Dining & Nutrition

Philosophy
Campers are encouraged to maintain a diet that is diverse and nutritional in order to support them throughout an active day. A healthy diet helps children achieve their full physical, social and emotional potential.
Meal time is more than just eating. Meals are served family style so that bunkmates can use that time to connect with each other.
We don’t all share the same tastes and preferences. That’s why we make sure that Campers always have multiple options available. We are allergen sensitive and can accommodate most dietary restrictions.
Menu
Each summer we bring in professional chefs and kitchen staff to run our kitchen. We promise to serve the freshest, tastiest, and most nutritious food in camping.
In addition, to the meal being served, A fully stocked Salad Bar and Baked Potato Bar are available during every Lunch.
In addition to a full Salad Bar and Potato Bar, we have Nacho and Pasta Bars available at Dinner.
Fresh fruit is always available in the dining hall.
Each night, campers have the option to choose one snack at our camp’s 50’s style ice cream parlor.
