Galore Travel. was founded by veteran El AL station manager, Jacob Gelbwachs, in 1982 and his two children, Eytan Gelbwachs and Orith Slomovich. When Jacob started his years in the hospitality industry; travel was truly a luxury, exemplifying a desire to see the world in fashion. What was a time of sophistication and elegance, the experience of travel was memorable all the way from the planning, arrival at the airport, en route, and destination at length. Galore Travel sought out to bring this timeless first class experience to all customers, ensuring every customer receives the attention and service they are looking for. Bringing you back to where it all started, this boutique agency has built strong relationships that have carried over decades; unique to the art of travel.

Roots. The Gelbwachs family immigrated from Israel, maintaining strong heartfelt roots and a deep connection. Jacob had managed EL AL stations in Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Copenhagen, Paris, and ultimately in New York had developed Galore Travel to continue to celebrate the spirit of travel to Israel (and beyond). ... of experience and professional ties, Jack's love for New York kept him local setting up shop in the heart of it all, Times Square, NY. Thirty plus years later, Galore Travel still calls Times Square home. Paving the way, Jack created strong trusting relationships with his clientele catering to families, groups, government officials and corporate travel. Whether it was meeting clients at the airport, emergencies, sharing a drink or simply chatting, Jack was known for his warm demeanor and his chivalrous fashion.

Learning from the very best, Eytan alongside his sister Orith continued the legacy of Galore Travel. This brother/sister team was and still is known to make everyone feel like family and deliver on quality customer service. Galore Travel was truly a FAMILY AFFAIR!

Carrying the torch in loving memory of her father and brother, Orith continues to celebrate the love and passion for travel she grew up with, while maintaining the core values Galore Travel was built on.
