Engineers of modern days are expected to be multitudinous and should be ready to face any circumstances. In conventional days engineers are expected to deliver technical expertise where as the contemporary days pose many challenges to engineers. The modern days engineers are expected to have both technical as well as managerial expertise as they have to sail the boat of adversity and uncertainty throughout their career. In order to deliver the best of you as an engineer you must have all such skills that would built and enrich your potential and marketability as an engineer.

You can grab the technical expertise or knowledge by joining and completing your course from top or best institutions of country. Especially in a country like India where engineering is one of the top class courses there are many institutions offering B.Tech degree. Choose the best institution in India and earn a degree. However, while choosing an institution you must keep in mind the value additions that you acquire by choosing that institution. The top most or more crucial value addition should be the skill development methodology that the institution offers. Until and unless the institute has or owns its own methodology or system for skill development of the student, don’t go for that institution.

The criticality of skill development programs by country’s best institutes arise from the contemporary market demands. The engineers of modern market should be risk averse and at the same time risk takers. The abilities of aversion and taking can be possible if you were molded perfectly at the time of studies. Although it takes major portion of you and your efforts if your institution doesn’t support your goals or objectives you cannot hone or develop any of such. So, choosing an institution that best aligns your technicality with skills or talents. The engineers of different streams would be requiring skills of different nature. The institution should support and design its infrastructure and systems in the way that would fit to the requirements of all streams. And there should be a student-centric approach as that is the only way through which the overall development of the student is possible. Development of skills of students would ensure the overall personality development of the student that would improves the marketability and openness of the student.
