Manaslu Circuit Trekking is one of the popular trekking destinations in Nepal. It is also one of the well-known and well-loved trekking tracks. Every year hundreds of tourist come to Nepal from all over the world to witness some of the highest peaks in the world. This trek provides visitors with breathtaking views of mountains, cultural heritages, adventure, and natural beauty. This trek is getting popularity as an alternative to Annapurna Base Camp Trek.

Mount Manaslu(8163m) is the eight highest peak in the world. The word Manaslu is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘manasa’ which means “intellect” or “soul”. So Mount Manaslu is also called the Spirit Mountain. Manaslu Area was opened for the trekkers only in 1992. Until then, this conservation area is home to endangered snow leopard and restricted area. Since then a number of trekking regions on the border of Nepal and Tibet has been opened for trekkers.

Manaslu Circuit trekking begins with a scenic ride from Kathmandu. The entire route is filled with a breathing taking view of the snow-clad mountains, wonderful natural vegetation and rare biodiversity.

The total during of the Manaslu Circuit Trekking can be 18-20 days with trekking and hiking as the main activities. It is considered to be a moderate level trekking with cultural, historical and natural tours and a maximum elevation of 5160m. The best season to visit the region is from March to May in spring and September to December during the winter.
