It is quite natural to see your hair shed off. Every follicle lasts long for some duration after which there is a new growth. But if this shedding occurs at an alarming rate, you must not overlook them. Telogen effluvium is a condition where in you see tremendous shedding of follicles due to shock or a prolonged tension due to death, accident etc. It is difficult to replace your follicles which get damaged from roots. Proper care must be taken in order to avert the condition. Once hair follicles have been damaged, there is no way of restoring its former health. What medicines can only do is to reduce the hair fall and make undamaged hair follicles produce more hair.

Air drying is the best way to manage your follicles rather than use blow dryer. Blow dryer blows a lot of hot air and exposure to excessive heat will damage your shafts. You will soon begin to see split ends and dry mane. Make use of the natural way of drying them and you can use your fingers to style them. Do not brush them when they are still damp. Moreover, drying the hair using a blower adds volume to the hair. But inasmuch that blow drying is very convenient, ...
... it is also dangerous to the hair, especially if overdone. It can make the hair very brittle.

If you are fascinated about colouring your mane, make use of natural products instead of using chemicals. You can use henna (mehendi), beet root pieces ground well, tea decoction if you like a deeper bergundi colour. Mix all these three ingredients along with oil and apply it. When you use it for two -three times you will soon get a good colour naturally. This will keep your mane shiny and in good health. In addition to this, you also get a good colour without causing damage to your mane.

If you have curly locks, you can make them soft by applying mousse or leave in conditioners. This way you can make best use of your curly locks. Rather than straighten it with ironing machines or use chemicals. If you still want that straight mane, you can go ahead with your styling products but make sure you follow the hair care tips well. Use a conditioner after shampooing your mane. You get conditioners and shampoos which are best suited for treated follicles, you can use them.
