The military runs on the support of the spouses. Every women dreams to get the life partner at officers rank. Especially the girls from the army background always want to be in army family after marriage. Dating a cadet in Military academy is not an easy task. Some take it as a pride that her life partner is a cadet and did not bother what other say about it. Army officer’s wife feels like a queen by the adorable and distinctive way he treats her. There are too formalities that are to be made to meet a person in academy. Everybody does not get right to enter the military academy because of security reason also.

At military places a very tough schedule is to be followed. Everyday pressure to perform well physically and academically. At first They have to crack NDA exam to secure this position which is even hard to crack and after that also there life is very tough. They need to prepare hard to crack NDA exam. NDA exam preparation needs constant dedication and time.

One does not get time to even think about himself. What about his partner?? Oh… there is no question ...
... to it. Spouse of military man has to make many compromises. There can’t be balance between work and personal life because of the tough time schedule. Military people gave their lives to the country and get less time to spend with their spouse. Most of the time they have to stay away from the family. But still many people are managing their lives because of understanding both have between them. Military girls are well prepared for the challenges that are to be faced once get married.

Few challenges that can be highlighted here are:

Busy schedule: Army officers has a very tough and busy schedule. They use to wake up at 3:30 am and go to bed at 10 pm. In between whole day there are either at training or performing physically or academically. They don’t get time to talk to their families for days.

Long distance relationship: Sometimes it takes weeks that the partners have talked to each other. Dating a cadet means to have risk of long distance relationship.To be on the positive side distances keeps spice in the relationships and strengthens the bond.

Eagerness to meet: Both of them need to stay away from each other for month. It is a very daunting situation where both are in and the moment when both meet each other is like breathtaking. The love they share is beyond words.
No scope of hassle free Communication: There are lot of hassels in the communication. Everytime a girl calls the cadet he might say he is busy because whole day they are involved in one or other assignments and lot of focus is required to perform those assignments. So military men don’t get time to ponder upon their family life in the beginning of their career. Many couples still manage and try their best to balance everything.

Odd timings for call : Dating a cadet means you need to stay connected at odd times. Yo have to kill your sleeps waiting for the time when both will talk to each other. Might be the situation when he will make a cal and you are sleeping. You have to wait for next few days. You will have the habit of seeing his last seen on whatsapp (7 days ago). You have to do silly things to talk to each other.

Not available in needy situation: He can’t be available when you need him. You can’t even expect to call him about your illness, any situation you are going through or ill situations etc. Even you will not be able to share your personal issues with him when you ought to talk after 8 days. You will always share happy things to make other feel good.

No time for family get-together: Out of the busy schedule military men don’t
get time for family get-together. They are busy in their own chores and did not find time to even ponder upon these things.

To conclude, your boyfriend is committed to the nation and it all about how you commit yourself to him. You should be proud of your dream man because he is also into a tough phase. Salute to all the military officers who are committed and have given their lives to the nation.
