Don’t risk losing part of your bond because your carpets aren’t clean at the end of the lease. 10. Steam clean twice a year

To keep your carpets in the best shape you should book in for a professional steam clean at least once per year if you are a two-person household, and twice for a bigger home with more occupants. This means you’ll have to keep off the carpet for a few hours to a few days after the clean so make sure that you book your time wisely.
