All our actions have given rise to consequences or an unnatural phenomenon like global warming, ozone depletion, water pollution etc. A handful of us have understood what we have done and make an effort in this regard. If we talk of our very own country that we boast of, river Ganges and the Yamuna are a very clear victim of our actions. These rivers which we proclaim to be pious for us have been defaced and polluted by industries that we established to meet our needs. The term Global Warming applies equally for us and we have made a major contribution for it.

Eco-friendly projects consist of such eco-friendly products which are those that do not harm the environment, whether in their production, use or disposal. Some of these going green products when in use, help conserve energy, minimize carbon footprint or the emission of greenhouse gases, and does not lead to substantial toxicity or pollution to the environment. The situation demands of measures for creating awareness for help people to adapt the climate change. Adaptation involves making adjustments in our decisions, activities and thinking because of observed or expected changes in climate, in order to moderate harm or take advantage of new opportunities. For example, you can start with electricity. When Benjamin Franklin invented electricity, he gave the world a new direction. Imagining a life without electricity is not just a difficult one, but an impossible one. This is the reason why electricity is precious and should be judiciously used. There is no dearth of electricity across SAARC nations, but saving some watts wouldn’t hurt anyone. After all, it will save money and give something back to nature.
