Disconnect the push button flush- Remove the cistern lid and take off the linkage at the back of the toilet, then unscrew the old button by hand. Most of the toilet units use a large white plastic nut; in this case, you must get a large set of grips to loosen it easily.

Place ...
... the new system into the cistern: Assemble the new components of the push button flush by fitting it into the plastic piping and then place inside the cistern. Screw back the plastic nut and secure the large washer as it was before.

Re- fit the Cistern: Carefully lift the cistern back onto the toilet bowl and place it perfectly. After securing the cistern to the wall make sure in re-attaching cold water feed and tighten it up.

Test the flush: Turn the water back on and make sure to check everything is working in a proper way. You must check for leaks and make sure that the cistern is filling up properly and flushing properly.
