Here are some things you might want to do to have a good year.

People around the world like to do different things on New Year's Day to invite lady luck into their lives and ward off evil. Here's a few of the things that people do.

Wearing red clothing is suppose to bring happiness into the wearers life, Don't let anything leave your house on new year's day or nothing good will come into your house, at midnight open all your doors and windows to let the old year out and the new year in, if your wallet is filled with money on new year's day, you will have prosperity thru the year, Never wash dishes or do laundry on new year's or you will have ill fortune.

If you're a single woman this one is a good one, when you wake on new year's day if you look out the window and see a man, you'll be married before the end of the year. (LOL)

All bills and debt should be paid before the New Year, or you will be in debt for the remainder of the year.

The first person to set foot in your house after midnight is the one that influences your year, if he is dark - haired, tall, good - looking and ...
... bearing gifts you will have good luck, if they are blonde or red heads you will have bad luck.

If you eat black - eyed peas on New Year's you will have luck financially and general good luck. If you eat turkey or chicken on New Year's Day, you'll have to dig for whatever you need.

Well I'm not a superstitious person, if I go somewhere and there's a certain food I eat it, I don't go to any extremes to make a superstition happen but if you do believe in them I wish you good luck and Happy New Year To ALL!
