Advertisement is a tool used by a company to create product awareness using various forms of media. Through advertisements, the company is able to reach a huge number of people in promoting their products and services. Therefore, it is important that the advertisement be carefully worded, catchy and easily remembered.

In making an effective advertisement, there are some practices which must be given emphasis.

1.Select the appropriate words.
Words play a very important role in convincing people. It can make or unmake the saleability of goods. Opt for words that will describe your product or service the way you want your target market wants to hear. This will definitely encourage positive reactions from your buyers.

2.Build up the offer.
Evaluate what offer is suitable. You can do these by conducting a variety of offers. Examples of building up an offer can be in the form of price cut-offs, rebates, discounts, buy one take one free.

3.Concentrate on selling.

4.Establish consumers trust and confidence.

This can be achieved by using of creative statements, giving free samples, giving testimonials or giving detailed information.

5.Create enthusiasm in your writing.
The content of your advertisements must project an enthusiastic appeal to your clients. People are more attracted to zealous writing because it cheers them on and at the same time give them more confidence to achieve what they desire or wish for. The exuberance that you project in your advertisement, be it print or broadcast, may present the needed encouragement which consumers are looking for.

To summarize, writing and advertisements is easy as long as you know the rules like getting the attention of your prospects, creating curiosity, making them want your product or service, and requiring them to act on their need. If all of these are incorporated, you are sure that your advertisement will be remembered.
