Traditionally graduate job has meant a job or career path for which a degree is the required for entry level qualifications. But today it might be more appropriate to define a graduate job as jobs that a graduate does and types of graduate jobs are –
Traditional graduate jobs (medicine, law, secondary teaching)
Modern graduate jobs (Primary teaching, management, IT)
New graduate jobs (Physiotherapy, management accounting, welfare work)
Other graduate jobs (Nursing, leisure management, retail management)
The UK leads the world in manufacturing graduates per head; it’s more degree holders than Germany, Norway, and Spain, Switzerland, and Germany .From above 18 percent of school leavers entering higher education in 1989, to over 47 percent now the UK has been the biggest expansion of its university industry anywhere in Europe.
