We innumerably talk and hear about soda fountains and beer dispensing units. Bars, restaurants, parks, movie halls and homes - everywhere you will find soda fountains. Kids love them, especially when they are tall enough to start using it themselves and do not need their parents to fill out glasses for them anymore.

Soda fountain, as we all know is the term used to refer the carbonated drink dispensers. These dispensers combine flavored syrup (which is dispensed from a bag in a box), water and carbon dioxide to make soft drinks. According to the flavor, the drinks can have cola or orange taste.

In some countries, soda fountain term is also used to refer to small to medium sized eating establishments, something which was very common in the 19th and 20th centuries. A beer dispensing southern California recently claimed at their website that the term soda water was initially coined in 1797. In 1812, the first US patent was issues for the production of mass mineral water bottles and soda bottles. The first soda fountain patent was awarded to S Fahnestock in the year 1820.

The company, which also deals in beer parts Los Angeles has also claimed that G Dows, a renowned name in the history of science inventions, invented the first soda fountain which was made from marble. It was patented in the year of 1861.
