It’s been 8 months I am living in Pune post marriage. Life has been blissful in the vibrant city of Pune. Living away from the family was hard at first but very soon I realised that the city has much more to offer. I have loved every moment spending here. I have an inseparable feeling with this city. It is considered as one of the fastest and smart city of India. When comes to restaurant Pune has lot more variety to provide which will really going to give you a feeling of hunger inside you. I am not so foodie kind of a person but still dining out is always preferable for me to spend quality time with my husband. Check out 6 awesome restaurants to eat out and give your stomach the ultimate pleasure of having good food.
The first one I would recommend is –
Crazy Noodles – It is a clean, decent and small outlet with friendly staff provides some authentic, tasty and colourful menu. If you are a Chinese cuisine lover then crazy noodles is definitely ideal for you. Their soups are very good. I personally loved Kung Pao Chicken and mixed noodles. Not so ...
... rich but yet yummy. The food prepared in the kitchen is in the front where you can see it is clean and hygienic. If you expect a high end service or environment, then it is not. You can get food items at a very reasonable rate.
Place – Pheonix market city, Viman nagar, Pune
Cinnamon Spice – This is one where I went twice and it truly delighted me. It is a nice family styled open air restaurant with a very unique interior set up of retro Bollywood theme kind. Their USP is North Indian and Punjabi cuisines with some light old music always playing at the background. But personally I felt the rates are bit higher. I recommend you to definitely give a try.
Place - Seasons Apartment Hotel, 128/2, Sanewadi, Aundh, Pune
Vaishali - Vaishali is favourite of all the Punewalas. An almost 50 years old restaurant still it is immensely popular and a crowd puller. They have consistently maintained the quality and taste of their food items. The menu contains casual dining like snacks (south indian ), sandwiches, shakes, ice creams. My personal recommendations will be Dosas, onion uttapam, Mysore dosa and few more. I can guarantee you won’t regret coming here.
Place - 1218/1, FC Road, Pune
George restaurant – Say Who doesn’t like Mughlai cuisines. George restaurant is located in the heart of the city quite known for their delicious biryanis, kababs, cholle kabab and chicken tikka ‘yummy’. I have been to this place on one Saturday and it was very crowded. The aroma of biryani literally made me crazy. The ambience is not at all fancy but yes provides some good quality food.
Place – East street, M.G road
Shizusan – The new Asian bristo Shizusan is not much old, presents their China, Japan and Vietnam a combination of their delicious culinary. Their dumplings would be the best thing to taste. The authenticity in their name brings forth their uniqueness of their innovative menu. My recommendation for you will u Shrimp hargao, Poached chicken, try the thai green curry with Hot Stone Rice. Steamed Thai Fish might go well for you as well. If you are okay to try something new then you will be delighted and if your food interest is not like that then you may end up wasting your money.
Place – Upper ground floor, Pheonix Market City, Viman Nagar
NH 37 Dhaba – This is one restaurant which is surely a favourite of every Bengalis. When craving for Bengali dishes I prefer to go there. They have amazing ambience with artificial small fountains and waterfalls, nicely decorated with bamboos and leaves. Very pleasant and comfortable one. You will get an ideal Bengali dishes. They provide a wide variety of food items starting with Mock tail, Salad, North Indian, Bengali, Chinese, Seafood, Desert. My personal favourite is the North Indian section and Bengali section is needed to improve.
Place – Range hill corner, Ganesh Khind Road, Shivaji Nagar
Well, there are lot more fine restaurants which you will get here in the heart of the city. Some provides some real great food.
