1) Target Customers- You shouldn't wait for customers to come to you. Instead you should actively look for your target audience who might be interested in your products and services.
You need to develop demographic & audience you want to target. There are a lot of social media platforms that have statistics available online e.g. Google keyboard planner.
Also, the keywords play a very important role in targeting customers. The keywords help the customers to reach your website. Use the right keywords that you think best describes your business and which your customers will use to find you.
2) Optimise your site and content: The content is crucial for both visitors and search engines, so its extremely important to create a high quality content for your website.
You should make the most out of your contact page as well, as it’s the second most important page for any business after the home page. And make sure you have the following details mentioned:

·         The address where your business is located
·         ...

·         A geo sitemap embedded so search engines can access it more easily
3) Participate in forums every week: If you can participate in forums of your relative field and can provide useful information in the forums, you can be recognised as an expert in your field. You can get more benefits if you can include links of the relative topic in your comments or you may also include links you wrote in the past that relates to the forum discussion. But be careful to not write spammy comments which have no relation with the ongoing topic or discussion.
4) Adverts: Your website is a tool to get you more business and make your brand image stronger. And you can only achieve that by getting noticed by your target clientele. You could try different advertising opportunities where people of relevant interests can learn more about your business.
5) Online Marketing Campaigns: Your target should be reaching out to as many potential customers as possible. You can make your business page on social media websites like Facebook, twitter, instagram etc. Email is another tool which can be used for capturing sales. Email builds a targeted, dedicated list of people who are genuinely interested in your products and services. All of the above mentioned methods can be used to update your target clients on new items or products they might be interested in.
You can also introduce new discount or loyalty schemes to attract more clients with any platform you may use. You need to give incentives to your clients, giving them a reason to keep coming back to you.
