SierraSil is a proprietary blend of many vitamins and minerals that help you deal with joint pain or inflammation. But as with any medicinal supplement, there are a few side effects you may experience and you should be aware of them. While these are generally not serious, going into any purchase well-informed is always the best decision, and you should never put anything into your body without knowing as much as you can about it.

Absorption of other compounds

Because of the way SierraSil is formulated, it has a unique microscopic mineral structure that has a tendency to absorb compounds around it. While SierraSil doesn't have any noted effect as far as negative interactions with other drugs, when you take it you should take it at a different time of day than other drugs because it has a tendency to absorb them and prevent them from being effective. It has a similar effect on water, so make sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day while taking SierraSil or you may find yourself dehydrated.

Pregnancy

While a large amount ...
... of scientific testing has been done on both the efficacy and safety of SierraSil, pregnant women should talk to their doctors before taking it because SierraSil hasn't been tested on pregnant women. But as stated before, many studies and lab tests have been done on the compound and found it to be safe and effective. If you skim through the Amazon reviews, there are almost no people who experienced side effects of any kind. All the low scoring reviews seem to be from those who didn't experience the amount of relief they needed rather than negative effects. And these are easily counterbalanced by the huge amount of positive 4 and 5 star reviews, some of which insist that SierraSil changed the reviewer's life!

Detoxification Symptoms

The only notable negative side effects of SierraSil are those that are a result of the body's detoxification and healing process, which are the same as those experienced by anyone going through a detox program. These symptoms are because of something called the Jarisch-Herxheimer Reaction. Essentially, when a large amount of pathogens are being wiped out inside the body, they release toxins that your body may have an immune response to. They include symptoms such as fever, nausea, and sweating. But don't worry, these are a natural part of the detoxification process and you shouldn't stop taking SierraSil if you experience them. The symptoms will pass and you will be left feeling much better!
