John McCallum, The Minister of Refugees and Citizenship, announced that Government of Canada is trying to attract more skilled francophone workers to settle in communities outside of Quebec:
"We want francophone minority communities in Canada to continue to be vibrant and growing".

A new Canadian immigration program called "International Mobility Program" will be open on June 1, 2016.
This program will help French speaking people by exempting them from the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), making it easier to get work in francophone minority communities.
