Do you have trouble digesting your food? Do you often experience bloating, stomach problems, belching, flatulence, head ache due to indigestion? This goes to prove that you have problems with your digestion. Find out the root cause of this problem and see how you can cure them. Read this article to improve your health conditions.

Causes for indigestion are:

Consumption of uncooked food
Poor eating practices
Contaminated water

Chances of such problem arise due to uncooked or raw food. When food particles do not get broken into smaller particles it leads to stomach problems. Remember, to eat food that is cooked well so that it does not lead to complications.

Poor eating practices, low fibre diet is another reason for this. So, the tip is to eat food rich in fibre such as green leafy vegetables, a lot of fresh salads, legumes and sprouted grams, whole wheat bread, oats, corn etc. Vegetables when eaten raw have better nutritional value than a cooked one. Similarly, enzymes are found in abundance in sprouted grams and unpasteurised milk. These enzymes are essential in order to absorb ...
... the nutrients present in the body and also promote good digestive health.

Artificial fibre damages the intestine by harshly scraping the mucous-lined membrane. Do not over eat fibre food, you must complement it with a lot of water intake. If not complemented with water, it can actually block the intestine and aggravate constipation problems.

Lack of pure or boiled water is another cause for stomach problems. It is essential to consume a lot of water, roughly around 8 to 10 glasses every day. It brings about proper bowel movement which is necessary to remain in good health. Dehydration results in constipation, headache and migraine which will lead to high blood pressure, PMS symptoms, heart disease and hormonal imbalances etc.

Add diuretic fruits and other food to your diet such as pine apple, water melon, cherries, celery, parsley root, cucumbers, artichokes, watercress etc. This will boost your water retention, detoxify your body and increase urination. Eat small variety of foods at each meal. Keep it simple to avoid that gassy feeling. Eat a variety of foods throughout the day, but keep the variety to a minimum for each meal.

Fruits will also help you reduce your blood pressure which is very important for healthy kidneys and heart. Therefore, develop good eating habits to improve your health.
