Oleodynamic Systems

Hydraulic systems using oil in as fluid that is put under pressure to produce energy are called oleodynamic systems.
These systems have several advantages that can be resumed as follows:
- higher power values and lower inertia supplied power being equal;
- great ease in transforming turning movements into alternative or linear movements with simplification of machinery;
- chance to obtain constant forces checkable in the course of time;
- high variations in the relationship between incoming speed of generator and speed of way out of actuator without the interposition of mechanical instruments;
- chance to create operative but complex processes
- exercise safety
Their negative aspects are:
- lost of load, with a consequent reduction of productivity, due to the friction opposing to the liquid movement;
- pressurability of the fluid which, even if it's limited, at high pressures it can increase the elasticity of the system with consequent negative effects
