So how do you complete your PT training and pass the exam successfully? Below are some tips that you can use to ensure that you would be able to take the exam confidently and pass successfully:
1. Do your study
It is important for you to learn as much as you can on scientific-related subjects. Dedicate a certain amount of time everyday for your study. Be prepared to study the following subjects - biology, physiology, chemistry, anatomy, physics and pathology. Study these subject diligently as they would provide you with the foundation knowledge for becoming a PT.
2. Get hands-on experience
Studying books alone is not enough if you want to be a good PT. This career would benefit from hands-on experience which would provide you with the experience and knowledge that you would not ...
... get from the books. Look for internships in your area. If you think the hours spent on your internship is not enough, you might want to consider volunteering. Remember, the more exposure you gain, the more knowledge and skill you would acquire. This would certainly help when it comes to your PT training exam.
3. Keep a positive attitude
As with any other profession which requires you to deal with people on everyday basis, it helps tremendously to have a positive attitude. This is important especially when you need to study various kinds of subjects and participate in real-life situations during your internship.
4. Confidence is the key
From the preparations that you have done prior to sitting for your exams, you would be confident enough to take the exam. Revisions that you have done, coupled with the hands-on experience, would definitely help you to take the exam confidently.
In short, it is possible to be a first-class licensed PT as long as you are prepared to put in extra effort and time to pass the PT training exam.
