A Couple Of Words About The Passwords Generation
You're only as secure as your password. Whenever you're subscribing to a mailing list or using online payment systems, you will need a password to access your account. For low-importance, low-risk tasks, you can maybe simply use your pet's name or something similar, but you know you really shouldn't. And when its about more serious stuff, well, you understand you've got to have something better.
It's quite hard to generate a nice password. They need to be long, include a bunch of different types of characters (upper- and lower case, digits, punctuation marks), exclude the dictionary words, adjacent characters, and so on. Unfortunately it's hard to be that inventive on your own, and you understand that "Tiger" or "Princess" may be the best what you will end up with.
PassworG is a freeware utility intended to give you a hand with this. You can specify the type of characters to be used, the password length and the number of passwords you need, and let the software generate the passwords for you. It also checks the quality of the passwords you've created and shows you the suggestions on how to improve them. And don't ...
... forget to save them somewhere, because these are the good passwords, you're won't be able to crack by yourself if you ever forget them.
PassworG is a Windows software that supports Windows 2000 through Windows 7.
