With regards to the booming medical industries, hospitals and clinics are not confined to doctors and surgeons but there are nurse practitioners as well. You can also choose to specialize in something specific such as obstetrics or oncology. To do this, check with your local board of nursing and your performance would be evaluated before you get certified. The fields from which you can choose to specialize in has got a lot of choices, so pick one you are passionate about and you would be heading for a good start of a career.
