A wedding ring is a wedding couple's most cherished possession. It is the only symbol of the couple's love and commitment and the vow they took to stay with each other as long as they live. It is the only artificial substance that holds the bonding between the couple all through their marital life. It is believed to connect the two hearts. Other metals are mixed with it to make it hard. Metals are also used to change the color of gold. Pure gold is yellow in color. Metals are often mixed to give it some artificial colors, like white gold or rose gold.

Wedding rings are quite plenty nowadays. A person can purchase rings from departmental stores or any online store. It is available in lots of variety. Variety in the sense, the design, cost, stones and metal used etc. It depends solely on the person, what ring he or she will choose for the partner. A person should buy keeping a lot of things in mind. The partner's choice, quality of the ring, its cost etc. If a person is in a job, where he or she has to use the hands a lot, then a designer, stone-studded ring is not preferable. It will not be comfortable for that person.

Whatever wedding ring a person purchases, there are several things that should be kept in mind. Using an uncomfortable wedding ring throughout life time is not good. Since, it is the single chance of a lifetime, enough importance should be given while purchasing a wedding ring.
