Microsoft's Bpos Helps You Communicate On The Go
Believe it or not, there was a day when cell phones didn't exist. If you were left in a car accident, you would be stranded and would have to wait for the next motorists to help you out. Nowadays, it's hard to imagine what to do without some sort of communications device to help you communicate on the go.
Our jobs are often busier yet more disjointed by meetings and sudden requests. Having some way to communicate at work even while you're driving or in a different city is more than helpful for many of our jobs - it's essential. That's why Microsoft's Business Productivity Online Suite allows users to have e-mail access anywhere - not just at work in front of your desk, but anywhere. This can allow you to stay connected even if you're at home taking care of your children or in a hotel room 600 miles away at a business meeting. With a Blackberry, you can check your e-mail even if you don't have access to a computer. Users can access the services from anywhere, administrators can access the console from anywhere, and the management interface is simplified.
Some might initially argue that they could simply use Gmail ...
... or Hotmail to stay in touch at work. But not only would your customers and co-workers not be likely to recognize e-mails from there, they're not nearly as secure for you either. Microsoft Exchange Hosted Services - which is a software you can purchase either by itself or as a part of Business Productivity Online Suite - offers you security and a wall against spam, phishing scams and other viruses. There's no guarantee you won't receive these at all, but the Exchange Hosted Services - which is a software you can purchase either by itself or as a part of Business Productivity Online Suite - should make you much safer than you would be otherwise.
Microsoft's exchange online offers 5 GB of mailbox storage for a standard license, and has a configurable amount of up to 25 GB per mailbox. The total cost of Microsoft BPOS isn't very expensive, and could actually save you almost 45 percent as opposed to doing your work on-premise. The on-premise cost for 2,500 total users can be up to $4,550,000 or even more, while the Microsoft online cost should be about $2,730,000, a savings of more than $1,800,000. So ultimately the BPOS should save you money, make your life more convenient and secure, and reduce the disjointed aspects of working in the 21st Century.
