The Need Of Values In School Education
Education, in current age is more oriented towards professional studies and hard-core academic learning. To teach values to children, a simulating environment should be created in the classroom and also beyond it. Only changing the curriculum and stuffing arts subject would do little good if the approach to education is not changed. Children should be educated to grow up as responsible and credible individuals rather than being programmed professionals.
The emotional health of children should be prioritized for their healthy and fulfilling life. Emotional and social development are integral part of learning and education should focus equally in these areas. Schools should harness and cultivate values in children and up bring their humane characters. Kindness, love, integrity, compassion and team sprit should be encouraged in children at schools through practical approach.
