American animated series thundercats is founded on a bunch of thunder cats humanoid characters. A video game that is side-scrolling is founded on the series, thundercats toys: in 1987, The Lost Eye of Thundera was published. When the game starts, the player is given away a picture of the Thundercats' key villain Mumm-Ra, and is informed that now Mumm-Ra has the Eye of Thundera.
