Several medical studies by leading Germany university hospitals have shown that bacterial loads can be determined even in permanently installed eye showers. So it is irrelevant whether the stipulated weekly or monthly function test is carried out or not. In both cases a large number of eye showers investigated actually showed a high germ count and/or too many bacteria in accordance with the German drinking water ordinance. This spray head not only meets the requirements of DIN EN 15154-2:2006 but also ensures water is distributed over a large surface. So the outer eye regions are also rinsed and it is easy to position the eyes in the water jet. The spray heads are protected against contamination with dust cover caps which open automatically when pressed. The integrated flow regulator keeps the water jet constant independent of the water pressure. Large holes in the spray heads provide automatic drainage and protect against calcification. Rubber sleeves around the spray head protect against injuries through knocking. The CleanLine hand-held eye showers comply with the current laboratory regulations and DIN EN 15154-2:2006.
