Generally, all roofing contractor insurance policies protect you from common risks that may present themselves during construction projects but there will be some areas not included in your coverage form. Your policy will not cover everything. An open communication with a Contractor and an Insurance Broker is important in order to understand these terms and conditions. The Insurance Broker must know the business of the roofing contractor and be able to relate that knowledge effectively to the underwriter. This mutual communication between parties will share each others knowledge and everyone will know the details of the insurance.
