A generation that was fascinated to see a 4 wheeler when they were 10 is now moving in aircrafts visiting world over. Today we can transfer any information in split seconds to any and every corner of the world. The technological advances are progressing rapidly. The world is becoming smaller. We are advancing and growing – but in technological and material spheres. Our hearts & minds are yet to be globalized. It is apparent from the news that we read and see everyday. Communal riots, Racial riots, Power politics both within the national and international boundaries to name a few.

The Global approach is found in philosophy of Yoga expounded thousands of years ago. Yoga is beyond Religion and nationality. Religion needs to convert people or to retain people to its ideology. Nationality too needs to conquer boundaries or to retain boundaries. Yoga does not identify with or exclude any religion or any nationality. It is really global. It addresses the human – the human psyche, human values and human principles that are universally true. Yoga means unity and oneness. Yoga is ...
... about conquering ones mind and converting it into an elevated mind, and be able to unite with all other beings with love, compassion and friendliness. Yoga works on the very ‘being’ of a person.

A person is sensitive about his nationality, his religion and his values very strongly. These bind one and all to a group or ideology in the hope of personal and social security. Unfortunately this gives larger platform to a small conflict creating conflicts among the groups and ideologies. These sometimes get extended to national or international levels depending upon the gravity of urge for control of the respective leadership that may be guided by lack of larger vision, poor insight or limited motive.

We need a global approach and a global value system, which we can fall back upon to restore peace and harmony. We have to be globally united to feel globally secured. Today we need ‘We are one’ approach very strongly to restore peace and to rid ourselves of conflicts arising out of petty thinking. We are one human filled with inherent feeling of compassion, friendliness and urge for harmony and joy. These qualities unfold to ourselves and blossom in our being as we progress in the path of Yoga.

According to Yoga & Yoga Teacher Training Certification , each being is one and alone being working on self growth. They live together and progress together.
