If you need to lose weight, you don't have to skip your meals. Instead cut down on food high in calories and exercise regularly. Eat plenty of fruits and salads in place of chips, burgers, pizzas and other junk food. Cut down on cola drinks, if you want to cut down on your extra pounds of flesh.

Fruits, vegetables are the only right nutrition for the human body. It is not only good for your stomach, it also has a lot of fibre. Fibre rich food helps proper digestion and avoid oily food. Green leafy vegetables contain a lot of anti-oxidants which is good for your over all health. Vegetables contain amino acids and antioxidants in forms that do not occur in other foods. You can eat unlimited amounts. Vegetables are most nutritious when eaten raw. Any amount of it will not lead to increase in cholesterol or fat.

Consume nuts to a moderate amount. They are good source of protein but eating too much of it is not advisable as there is a tendency to gain weight. You can start of with slight exercise after 3 months but gymming should be carried out only after 6 months.

Junk food can be replaced by sprouts, green grams, beet greens, broccoli, cabbage, celery, Brussels, garlic, onion, okra, parsley, spinach, turnips, raddish, lettuce must be part of your diet. In addition to this, drink plenty of water every day. You need adequate amount of water to keep your body system in good condition. It is also said to help in weight reduction.

Yoga and meditation will help you lose weight. You can remain stress-free, while jogging and similar others would also help reduce weight. It keeps your body and soul in good condition and you will live longer.
