If you're training to be a nurse practitioner or thinking about pursuing a degree in this field, you would be facing a final examination that can be quite nerve wrecking. So if you're having the jitters and wondering how to not only pass but actually do well on your examination, read on.

First, by taking an online examination, the most crucial thing would be to make sure you are comfortable but not too comfortable. If your PC is in your room, then maybe you should have it moved. It has been found that when in the comfort of your own room, you would be easily distracted by music, television and even your bed. Your aim is to fully concentrate and not let your mind wander.

Next, study smart, not hard. Figure out the best learning method that works for you. Are you someone who works well with audio, visual or combination? Once you've got that sorted out, you would know how to make your notes and what you can do to make learning more effective. Also, try going over lessons right after class so that you would know how much you have understood and the materials would be fresh in your mind. So when class is over, spend ...
... about half an hour with your books and not shove them away.

Furthermore, always avoid procrastination when it comes to your education. Common studying behavior is leaving things for the last minute which can actually cause you to flunk even the easiest test. This would be a result for too much, too fast cramming within a short period of time. so if you know you're exams are coming up, start flipping through about a month before and keep doing it continuously until exam day. Also, make sure you eat balanced diets and get enough sleep, especially on the day before the big exam.

Nurse practitioners is all about procedures, facts and application, there is no easy way out, so sit down and push yourself to study every day, with little breaks and occasional rewards for finishing a subject.
