Homes and buildings all over the country are taking advantage of the greatest resource that we have, which is the earth. They are employing the Ground Source Heat Pump or GSHP which is a heating pump that uses the constant temperature underneath the ground to not only supply heating and cooling to home and buildings but also to supply free hot water. These units use loops that are put into the ground so that they can access this constant temperature that is about 3 feet under or more. This temperature in the ground stays the same no matter how cold or how hot it may be outside.
