It is a popular notion that the consumption of dietary fats should be limited if you want to lose body weight fast.
In an effort to lose body weight fast, low-fat diets have become the convention; this is because we've been made to believe that fats are evil and harmful and should be avoided at all costs.
Despite the current obesity crisis in the United States (7 out of 10 people who are aged over 25 are considered overweight), the dietary fat consumption is at an all time low. Yes. That's true! We're consuming LESS fat, but many of us are FATTER than we have ever been.

Testosterone is critical because it is one of the most powerful fat burning and muscle building substances in your body. (Both men and women benefit from testosterone.)
3) When your fat intake dips too low, your body will automatically slow down your metabolism to conserve energy.
4) Low fat diets are often high in sugar. Diets that are high in simple sugars are a major contributing factor to obesity.
Apart from increasing the fat burning metabolic rate, essential fatty acids provide many health benefits; some of these are listed below.
