Getting my ex back was easily one of the hardest things I have done in my life. It was also one of the most rewarding things I have done as well. That period in my life was easily one of the roughest patches I want to ever see, but thanks to the things I went through, my relationship and life has been really great. I was like many of you when we broke up and probably reacted the same way. I was really ticked off and upset and wanted to kill her (not literally, just really mad). I knew I did something wrong, but being a guy I never thought things were that bad. The warning signs were all over the place, but I never once thought they were really warnings.

After a day or two the anger left, but the sorrow and self-pity took its place. I missed her being around, but didn't know how to get her back. I did the most logical thing that I could think of...

I resorted to begging.

Obviously, this did not work. In fact, it only helped push her a bit away. I made a bad move, but it was one I could recover from.

... I spent some time just enjoying myself and doing what I could to regain my happiness. I went out and played some cards with my friends and renewed my interest in roller blading. Amazingly within a week or two I was in a better emotional state, and not long after I had attracted my ex back with the same qualities that I won her with to begin with.
