Rudhramadevi is a first Indian 3D historic film, simultaneously being produced in Telugu and Tamil languages. The film is directed by Gunasekhar, and has an ensemble cast like Anushka Shetty, Krishnam Raju, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Nithya Menon, Baba Sehgal, Catherine Tresa and many more. Anushka will be seen as Rudhrama Devi 3D movie tickets, the 13th century revered Telugu queen of the Kakatiya dynasty. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by Ilaiyaraaja and the art direction is handled by Thotta Tharani. Neeta Lulla is designing the costumes. The film has completed the production and is in post production stage.
She was born, as Rudramba (Rudra-Amba) to King Ganapathideva (or Ganapatideva, or Ganapathi Devudu), who ruled at Warangal, the capital of Kakateeya Dynasty that had sway on most of Telangana & Andhra Pradhesh during 13th century. Rudramma was formally designated as a son through the ancient Putrika ceremony and given the male name of Rudradeva.
