Details And The Requirements For The Exam On Personal Licensing

Any person who sells alcohol to the general public should hold a licence provided by the government as per the licensing act passed in the year 2003 in England and Wales and the Scotland licensing Act passed in the year 2005. This license is known as personal license. To obtain this license the holder should get qualified. When you sell alcohol with a personal license, make sure that you also have the following ones.
• Food license
• Occasional license
• Temporary event notice
• License from the magistrate court
Qualification Unit:
The candidate should obtain a minimum of 70% to achieve the qualification Unit. Once you clear this exam you can proceed to the next level. The results are announced within 7 to 10 days from the date of examination. The certificates are sent within the next 5 working days from the day the results are announced.

The training for refreshing is also known as SCPLH/R. This course is designed for half day session for training. The licensing department is designed the exam for the updating the knowledge of the license holder. The candidate should attend a training course in the period of pre-course study for half a day or an online program which is given by the specific body. They can further proceed to the course level 3.
Cost:
The cost of the personal license varies according to the countries in Scotland the cost is around $325 to $350 if undertaken by the company of licensing or a solicitor. The cost for the application made to the board of licensing is $50.
Exam:
The duration of the personal license exam is 60 minutes. The exam consists of 40 multiple choice questions in which you have to get a minimum of at least 28 questions correct to obtain the unit for qualification.
